Site Planning and Designing

1)      Selection of site
            When we select a site many conditions have to be considered. Profitability is the main factor. But other factors also very important for continues production.
            a) Deposit Quality and Amount
v  Quality of the rock was determined by finding AIV, LAAV and ACV of the rock aggregates.
            b) Supply and Demand
            c) Transportation
.
            d) Labor
v  Skilled labors and Non-Skilled labors can be found.
            e) Government Approvals
v  Blasting licence, Mining license and Environmental protection license need obtained.
            f) Profit & Cost
            g) Historical Importance of the Area

2) Legal Procedure
            An essential part, because without legal approval, can’t maintain the site. This has to focus on;
            a) Obtaining Mining License
            b) CEA Approval
            c) Trade License
            d) Explosive License
            e) Lease Agreement
3) Site Preparation
            When site is selected and legal procedure is covered, can start the site. To maintain it properly, has to have other requirements such as;
            a) Earth Dam
            b) Face/ Spacing for crusher plant
            c) Labor Camps/ Office
            d) Decks/ Access Ways
4) Crusher Plant Installation
            After above steps the crusher should install with essential parts as;
            a) Grizzly Feeder with Primary Crusher (as the jaw crusher)
            b) Feeder (as vibratory feeder)
            c) Other Secondary Crushers (as cone crushers)
            d) Screen According to the output need
5) Quarry Design
            Here also have several areas to concentrate such as;
a)      Types of Explosives should Used
b)      Blasting Pattern
c)      Feeding point to crusher plant
d)     Machinery and Equipment should used
e)      Safety
f)       Drainage System
g)      Quarry Pattern such as no. of benches
Most of these parameters are vary with the physical properties of the deposit, such as Strength, Height, Fractures etc. and also the scope of the organization
